The  Southeaster Barbecue Fest Cook-off competition is a professionally  sanctioned and judged event of the Florida Barbecue Association.  One  of only 18 competitions sanctioned by the Florida Barbeque Association in  the USA. Some  very exciting changes have taken place since last year and we guarantee  that this year‚s competition will be enjoyable and fun for everyone. So, mark your calendars and come  along and appreciate the Championship Barbecue Contest In Panama City Beach on November 13, 14 & 15, 2009.   Savor  the mouth watering smells and sights of smoking meats of all kinds and many different unique flavors of barbecue. There will be all types of  barbecue from pork, ribs, and chicken you name it we‚ll have it. While  indulging the best favorable barbecue in the country there will be  Barbecue teams that travel the country to accumulate enough points to  qualify for the Championship Contest in Florida.  In  Addition, to the championship division we offer a  Back  yard Cook-Off which  is  open to all who have never competed in a Championship Cook-off, and whose  Team Members have never cooked on a Championship Team. So, if you  think you‚re the best in the neighborhood come on down and bring your  grill.  Besides  all that, there will also be a wide variety of other activities for guests  to enjoy. Live entertainment from a number of well-known local and  regional musicians will be provided for festival-goers  with a slant towards the Blues. In fact, interested in antiques? An  extravagant antique show will also be held. Not  to mention the  most  thrilling exciting amusement rides from Miami are attending the BBQ  Festival.
